YCL is one of many Christian camping and retreat centers in northern Indiana, but is unique due to the beautiful natural lake-front setting.

History:
YCL has been central to the Church of God (Anderson) from its founding in 1897. It was the gathering place for the people in camp meetings as the Association formed. It has continued into the 21st century to be a place for lay and clergy of the church to come together at least annually to renew and refocus the spiritual life and the work of the church.

Affiliation:
YCL Ministries is an integrated auxiliary of the Indiana North Association of Church of God Churches, Inc. a nonprofit organization that serves local congregations within the Church of God and other Christian organizations in the same area.  

Purpose:
We provide camping and retreat services for short-term spiritual renewal events.  We work closely with Christian groups to provide maximum opportunity for spiritual renewal in a safe, clean environment. Our recreational options add to the overall experience by fostering relationships and physical development.

Mission:
The Mission of YCL Ministries is to provide a setting for campers of all ages to experience God, mature in their faith, and develop a servant's heart to serve in their communities.

We believe our setting and mission are a winning combination that will attract many groups. We have a staff of qualified individuals along with faithful volunteers all committed to the mission and vision of YCL.

The Association of churches has sacrificially supported YCL financially and will continue to do so while opening the doors to other organizations and individuals who support the mission and vision of YCL and would like to help fund its ongoing ministry.

More than ever, we believe the need exists to provide a safe environment where Christian values are taught and deeper commitments are made. Camps and retreats are still proven to be one of the best settings for these to take place.
